R&R History
R&R was founded in 2003 as a branch of a wholesale carrier.
In 2003 R&R has acquired two cutting-edge Sonus GSX9000 switches and internally developed Switch Management Interface knowing what wholesale carriers demand from Routing, Reporting and Billing applications. By 2004 R&R's sole business was providing switch partition to wholesale VoIP and TDM carriers worldwide.
In 2004 R&R’s management vast experience in wholesale markets, has helped it to create the best traffic management solution for Switch Partitioning. The founding principle was that most telecom executives tend to spend too much time browsing through traffic reports and calculating traffic quality characteristics. R&R Switch Management Interface was created with more than 50 reporting tables that present all important aspects in a simple and easy to read format. Export to Excel is done with one click of your mouse.
In 2004 R&R Telecom subsribed Tier-1 European carrier and ended year with more than 12 partition customers.
In 2005 interface development continued with introduction of troubleshooting options.
Troubleshooting is the most critical issue in switch partitioning, thus sophisticated CDR report was added to the Management Interface. With this report, Partition customers could easily define which gateway experienced hung up calls, what was the reason of call disconnection and what call parameters were used on that call.
In 2006 R&R relocated to larger offices in downtown Manhattan and located switching facilities in Jersey City, NJ.
In 2007 R&R Telecom's assets were acquired by CarrierDomain, a start up company backed up by Venture Capitalists to further the business of Sonus GSX9000 switch partitioning.
